Integrative Yoga Therapy & Support Group for Trauma
Healing from trauma is vulnerable, courageous, and essential work for the Self. Trauma manifests in the body as stagnant energy affecting our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By bringing heightened awareness to the body we can begin the process of healing from the inside out. In this 8-week holistic therapy group you will learn to work through and with your trauma from a Bottom-Up Approach, gaining insight into how trauma affects you on all levels of your being:
•physical - what happens in the brain and nervous systems
•energetic - how to balance your energy from swinging between extremes of low/depression and high/anxiety
•mental/emotional- how to make friends with your thoughts and feelings, and have compassion towards yourself,
reframing your story from victim to thriver
•intuitive - learning to trust yourself again
•spiritual- feeling a deep connection and
gratitude for life
You’ll be guided through yoga, somatic practices, breathwork, sound healing, meditation and deep relaxation techniques to integrate and balance your mind, body, and spirit. You will learn how to utilize holistic and embodied practices to repair and work with your nervous systems, leaving the group with tools to feel empowered, strong, and capable.
